Product Description:
The Big Kahuna started as a woodblock print in a Hanalei gallery. Artist Mark Daniells carved it as a self portrait of sorts. His brother Matt saw it and knew it belonged on paddle gear. That print became the soul of Silverback Hawaii.
This is not just another sun hoodie. It is a piece of Hawaiian paddle culture wrapped in performance fabric made from 13 recycled bottles per yard.
Built for the water:
SPF 50 protection. Moisture wicking fabric that dries fast between sessions. Flatlock seams eliminate chafing on long paddles. Integrated thumb holes for hand protection. Hood with button closure layers over your favorite cap. Relaxed fit that does not restrict your paddle stroke.
Fabric:
78% recycled polyester, 22% spandex. Made in USA.

Men's Hawaiian Hydro Hoodie - Big Kahuna Print
$40.00
When I paddle in the open ocean, I grab one of my Silverback hoodies. They are so comfortable, perfect for keeping the blazing Maui sun off, breathable, soft, flattering cut, and well made. I know there can be surprises on the water: weather conditions can change quickly, equipment can fail. I chose the neon colors and have been told several times that I can be seen at least 2 miles away. I use them for hiking, too, because they are the most breathable sun protection Ive found. Thanks, Matt!
