I just wanted to let everyone know that we are still here. We are working our butts off, trying to get new, improved products out to all of you who are waiting in the wings.
Jaecey and I have been sweating bullets trying to get production ready for Christmas and, unfortunately, it looks like that’s not going to be possible. We’ve been going back and forth with numerous manufacturers and trying to stick to the tenants of our company: Made in the USA and made with quality materials. No corners cut–and it’s proving harder than I had originally imagined.
I’m so sad about this, because I told so many of you that we would have the Hawaiian Hydro Hoodie available for purchase, for your Holiday Shopping–it’s been a best seller and a product that many have asked me to get to them at Meets, Competitions and over Social Media. I know I have a winner on my hands and to know that–and not be able to make it tangible, due to things out of my control–is beyond frustrating.
It hasn’t been easy, but we will never stray from our original mission and goal.
Silverback has stuck and will continue to abide by our vision of Recycled, Responsible, Ethically Made, Performance Oriented, and Made Entirely in the USA, no matter how hard that is to achieve.
Please stand by us and know that we are working long and hard on getting you the best On-water Performance Hoodie, in a timely fashion. We should have samples online to order soon but may not be deliverable by Christmas. We are focusing on 2 events in January, my sponsored MPH Race, The Kihei Splash, on January 22nd, 2023, and the Hanohano Ocean Challenge on January 29th, in Mission Bay San Diego.
